In 2015 😂 (Face with Tears of Joy) was announced as Oxford Word of the Year. It was also the most used emoji in the world in 2019 and 2021. Although I see the value in 😂, I’m tipping 🐩 will win most popular this year.
🐩 first appeared in 2010 and its popularity has held steady. While different devices depict my breed differently, Microsoft really nailed it. Much like me, the Microsoft poodle is sophisticated and elegant with a sprinkling of wit reserved for the most intelligent breeds. 😉
It’s time to place your bets… share your tip for most popular emoji 2022. Don’t worry – I won’t hold it against you if you choose 🐈.
