The Lort Smith Animal Hospital has been improving the lives of many patients over the last 20 years – and their help is not limited to just our furry and feathered friends. The Pet Therapy program sees volunteer owners and their pets visiting nursing homes and hospital wards to provide a much-needed morale boost to residents and patients.
The program was recently featured on Channel 9’s Today Show, highlighting the unique and invaluable contribution of these two-and four-legged volunteers.
