Pesel & Carr recognised globally for outstanding work

Pesel & Carr received an Excellence Award at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) 2015 Gold Quill Awards for ‘Her Name Was Tracy and She Was Loved’ media relations campaign for St. Kilda Gatehouse.

The Awards were announced on Monday April 6 (US Pacific time), where Pesel & Carr was recognised for its outstanding work in developing a strategic and engaging campaign for the not-for-profit organisation involved in helping street sex workers, who are often marginalised and have life controlling addictions.

Pesel & Carr has worked with St. Kilda Gatehouse since 2011 in support of various campaigns.

IABC is a global network of communication professionals committed to improving organisational effectiveness through strategic communication. The Gold Quill Awards were judged by a panel of international leaders in the public relations profession and industry sector representatives.

The campaign win adds to previous awards won at the 2014 Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Gold Target Awards and the 2015 Ragan Media Relations Awards.

An Excellence Awards Gala will be held in San Francisco on Monday 15 June as part of IABC’s World Conference.
